Inspiration
using the Persian knot and combining over 50% fine silk yarn with handspun highland wool. The design elements are knotted in pure silk, its subtle sheen setting them off from the woollen background. Careful carving emphasizes the three-dimensional look of the carpets.All carpets combine old fibrecraft traditions with a modern design language. The designs have been created by Hamburg-based designer Ali Oskui, who already received a carpet design award in 2014.
