Material Description

Jute is one of the oldest natural fibres in the world — and one of the most honest. It's firm underfoot, slightly rough to the touch, and carries a faint natural earthiness when it first arrives (that fades within a day or two). Jute doesn't trap dust the way pile rugs do, which makes it genuinely easier to maintain — a quick shake or light vacuum and it's clean.

One thing worth knowing: jute doesn't like moisture. Keep it in dry rooms — living rooms, bedrooms, balconies. Avoid anywhere near a kitchen sink or bathroom. That's not a flaw, it's just the nature of natural fibre.
